April 1, 1883 - September 13, 1966
Charlie Smith Wooten, 83, of Anniston, Ala., a former resident of El Dorado, died Tuesday morning in an Anniston hospital following a short illness. Mr. Wooten is survived by three daughters, Miss Lillian F. Wooten and Mrs. Florice Frisby, both of Anniston, and Mrs. Virginia Elliott of Strong; and a half-sister, Mrs. Luney Garner of El Dorado. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Green Grove Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow in the Green Grove cemetery. The body will arrive in El Dorado Thursday afternoon.
