Lafayette - Kathryn Hamon Frisby went home to our Lord on January 17, 2018, at Camelot Place in Crowley, Louisiana, surrounded by her family. She leaves her two children Ronnie (Cynthia) Frisby and Paula (Lannie) Richardson; three grandchildren Marti (Jake) Andries; Lan (Katie) Richardson; Rob (Caitlin) Richardson and five great grandchildren Olivia Andries, Seth Andries, Nathan Andries, Hudson Richardson, and Luke Richardson. Mrs. Frisby leaves one brother Joe Hamon of Logansport, LA, and one sister Donna (Ronnie) Sanford of Houston. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Elvin Emon Frisby; her parents Anna Mae Jones and Joseph Glenn Hamon, one sister Jewell Shamblin, and one brother Curtis Hammond. Mrs. Frisby was a member of First Baptist Church of Lafayette where she attended Mrs. Sarah Darby's Sunday school class, a group of loving ladies who wrapped their arms around her. Memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. Dr. Steve Horn will be officiating. Mrs. Frisby's family would like to express thanks to Camelot Place for the special care provided over the past two years. There are too many exceptional staff members to mention them all by name. The family would also like to thank Bridgeway Hospice for their compassion and support.
