Elvin Frisby, age 82 of Lafayette, LA, formerly of Ruston, LA went home to our Lord on Saturday afternoon, June 15, 2013 at The Camelot Place in Crowley, LA surrounded by his family. He was born on May 31, 1931 in New London, AR to the late Benjamin and Paralee Frisby.
Elvin was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Evelyn Phillips.
Those left to cherish his memory include; his wife, of 61 years, Kathryn Hamon Frisby; one son, Ronnie Frisby and wife, Cynthia; one daughter, Paula Richardson and husband, Lannie; three grandchildren, Marti Andries and husband, Jake, Lan Richardson and wife, Katie, Rob Richardson and wife, Caitlin; three great grandchildren, Olivia, Seth and Nathan Andries, all of Lafayette, LA; two brothers, John Frisby and wife, Joy of Melvern, AR, James Shirey and wife, Juanita of Searcy, AR; two sisters, Cinda Martindale of Simsboro, LA and Melba Lanxton of Carrolton, GA.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Green Grove Cemetery near Strong, AR.
Viewing will begin one hour before Graveside inside Green Grove Chapel Church.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
