Gail Bing Higginbotham, 82, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at her residence. Mrs. Higginbotham was a native of Eudora and a resident of Hamburg for the past 63 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hamburg.
She is preceded in death by a son, Gary K. Higginbotham, Sr., in 2007; a daughter, Valerie Higginbotham, in 1957; a grandson, Zachary Seth
Higginbotham, in 2008; her parents, Earl & Loye Carpenter Bing; a brother, Rudy Bing and a sister, Penny Kilcrease.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, J.D. Higginbotham of Hamburg; three sons, Eric Higginbotham, John David Higginbotham both of Hamburg and Jay Higginbotham of Crossett; a sister, Annette Weindorf and husband, Dane, of Hamburg; a half-sister, Libby Smith of ine Bluff; two grandsons, Eric James Higginbotham and Gary Keith Higginbotham, Jr. and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are 11 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ty Danielson officiating.
Private burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be after the service.

J D Higginbotham, 84, of Hamburg, died Saturday, January 11, 2020, at his residence. Mr. Higginbotham was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg and a graduate of Hamburg High School. He was a wonderful
provider for his family, a hard worker and loved working for GeorgiaPacific Corporation for 46 years. Mr. Higginbotham was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hamburg for over 70 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, 11 days ago, Gail Bing Higginbotham; a son, Gary K. Higginbotham, Sr., in 2007; a daughter, Valerie Higginbotham, in 1957; a grandson, Zachary Seth Higginbotham, in 2008; his parents, Johnny and Jessie Lou Venters Higginbotham and two half-brothers, John Richard Giles and Paul Dean Higginbotham.
He is survived by three sons, Eric Higginbotham, John David Higginbotham both of Hamburg and Jay Higginbotham of Crossett; two half-brothers, Fay Giles of Price, Utah and Doyle Giles of Conway; a half-sister, Johnita Lebow of Houston, Texas; two grandsons, Eric James
Higginbotham and Gary Keith Higginbotham, Jr. and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are 10 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2020, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ty Danielson officiating. A private burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be after the service.
