Carolyn Lyons, 75 of Taylor, Arkansas, died August 3, 2018, at Quail Ridge Living Center, Colcord, Oklahoma. Born December 26, 1942, in Union County, Arkansas, she was the daughter of John Henry Young and Mary Marcalene Warren Young. Carolyn married Charles William Lyons on August 11, 1961. She held many jobs substitute teacher, social services coordinator, court clerk and a domestic queen. Carolyn loved to cook and was an accomplished seamstress. She was a member of the East Main Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and son John Lyons.
Survivors include her husband Charles of the home; daughter Kimberly Campbell and husband Barry of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; granddaughters Sarah Beth Wilson and husband Aaron of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Kendyl Wilbert and husband Daniel of Camden, Arkansas; 7 great grandchildren and brother John Young of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
