November 24, 1957 - June 21, 2017
During his lifetime he went through a lot of trials and tribulations, and he always managed to overcome a lot in his life. In January 2012, he suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed on his left side. On this day, he finally overcame his last battle with his family by his side, and he calmly and peacefully slipped into his next life. He was loved and will be missed.
He was the son of the late Norman and Clara Duncan Massey.
Survivors are his brother, Wayne Massey and wife, Pam Massey of El Dorado; sister, Carla Peace and husband, Kevin Peace of El Dorado; four nieces, Amber Holloway, Brandi Brown, Cortney Damron, Terra Peace; two great nieces; and two great nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2017, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gerald Perry officiating under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time at Young’s.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
