Catherine Marie Bass, 84 of Louann, AR passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. She was born February 19, 1927 in Buena Vista, AR to the late Harvey and Ida Mae Williams. She married Burley Bass in 1943 and was married to him until he went home to be with the Lord in May 1982. She gave her life to the Lord at a very early age and was a member of Bethesda Church. She was a caring, loving person who always had her heart and home open to all who needed her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Danny (Gwen) Bass of Camden, AR; daughter, Dorothy (Jimmy) Brian of Camden, AR; sisters, Louise Daniel of Camden, AR, Louseal Nalls of Sparkman, AR; and brother, Doug Williams of Camden, AR.
She is survived by one son, Johnny (Georgia) Bass of Louann, AR; one sister, Jean Palmer of Camden, AR; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Robert Thornton will officiate the services. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.View slideshow presentation for Catherine Marie Bass
