Ronald Edward Bass age 70 of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, August 07, 2008 in a local hospital.
Mr. Bass was born September 14, 1937 in Camden, Arkansas. He was a retired assistant superintendent with International Paper Mill after 35 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Bass of Texarkana, Texas; 2 daughters and l son in-law, Cynthia Spinks of Atlanta, Tx. and Sherri & Michael Hudson of Melissa, Tx.; a step-son, and daughter in-law, Robbie & Louanne Smith of Texarkana; l brother, Bobby Bass of Camden, Ar; 6 grandchildren and l great grandchild.
Services will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas with Rev. Don Howren officiating. Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Park, Camden, Arkansas.
