Irene was an accomplished pianist. Irene was a private piano teacher and taught hundreds of students over the years. She was church pianist at Trinity Baptist, Immanuel Baptist, and Elliott Baptist Church. She played for the South Arkansas Quartet and The Revelators Quartet. Irene was 79 years old and lived a long and fulfilling life surrounded by those she loved. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Larry Brian, and their children; Lana Collins and husband, David and Lane Brian and wife, Karla. Two brothers, Dennis Lindsey and wife, Becky and Dale Lindsey and wife, Donna. She is survived by one granddaughter, Brooke Collins, as well as four grandsons, Kurt Collins, Shane Collins, Jacob Lewis and Layton Brian. While we know it hurts to tell her goodbye, we also know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We know that she is in the arms of Jesus today, and because of that October 3 will always be a good, good Sunday.
Visitation will be 1:00-2:00PM Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Camden, AR. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Bro. David Collins will officiate. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.
