Herschel Ray Brian, 86 of Camden left this life for his eternal one on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Silver Oaks Nursing and Rehab in Camden. He was born in Camden on July 24, 1929 to Johnnie Embry and ZeeDee Daniels Brian.
He was a graduate of Camden High School. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, was a freemason and a master electrician retired from International Paper Company following 40 years of service. He was a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church for over 70 years.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 3 sisters and a grandson, Isaac Brian.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 66 years, Helen Ashworth Brian; a brother, Harper Brian of Camden; two sons, Kelly Brian (Cindy) of Benton, AR and Todd Brian (Crystal) of Camden; a daughter-in-law, Jill Brian of Camden; grandchildren Morgan Brian of Little Rock, AR, Lane & Cohen Duncan of Camden, and Josh & Justin Jeffers of Camden & Lindsey Jeffers of Benton, AR; his dear friend Dr. Jim Rocconi (Teresa) of Camden; a nephew Matt Brian (Josie) of Camden and a host of other nieces, nephews friends and relatives.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
A memorial service will be held at Cullendale First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Monday with interment to follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cullendale First Baptist Church.
