*Obituary
James "Jim" L. Burkhart, 75, of Rudy, Arkansas died Tuesday, December 1, 1992, at a Fort Smith hospital. He retired in 1976 as an upholsterer at Covey Furniture Co. and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God at Rudy.

Funeral services were held Thursday at Ocker Memorial Chapel with Rev. PLerry Harrison and Rev. Bobby Colton officiating. Burial was at Mount McCurry Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie, (they were married May 11, 1934); two daughters, nine sons, one sister, two brothers, One brother, (Shannon Burkhart of Phoenix, passed away the same day as Mr. Burkhart), 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were by Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Nellie Kenner Burkhart
November 8, 1914 - January 2, 2007

She was 92 years old and died in a local hospital. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and the widow of James Burkhart.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Coreena Cockrum of Van Buren and Ruby Pierce of Hot Springs; 9 sons, Jimmy and Teddy Burkhart, both of Alma, Bobby, Mackey, Troy, Billy and David Burkhart, all of Rudy, Johnny and Roy Burkhart, both of Van Buren; 28 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great-great-grancdhildren.
