Marie Burkhart, 52 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in her home.
She was a bank teller for Citizens Bank & Trust in Van Buren. She was a member of the Rena Road Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents Whitey and Charlotte (Turner) Whitlow.
Funeral service will be at 10 AM Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by her husband, Monty Burkhart of the home; one daughter, Alicia Coombes and husband, Christopher of Van Buren; one son, Timothy Burkhart and wife, Gabrielle of Van Buren; her mother, Donna Ridgle of Walterboro, SC; three sisters, Connie Meyer of Hawaii, Vickie Parker of Wacross, GA, Kenna Robertson of Walterboro, SC; one brother, Joel Whitlow of Seminole, OK; four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lester Hopwood, Alan Hamilton, David Short, Terry Wells, John Kozar and Nicholas Hamilton.
