*Obituary

Nelda Langford Morris, 84, of Joy, passed away October 30, 2021 at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born May 9, 1937 at Joy to the late Willis and Milinda Clay Langford.
Mrs. Morris was a member of Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church at Joy. She was a lifelong caregiver of others; from raising her family to looking after others when called upon, she always was ready to serve, whether it be a warm cooked meal or a kind word, she was always ready to share the love of Christ. She enjoyed the simpler farm life, going on walks and enjoying God's beauty as well as going on shopping trips with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morris; one brother, Hardy Langford; sister, Bobbie Cohorn; and nephew, Josh Pratt.
She is survived by three sons, Jimmy Morris (Linda) of Bradford, Jacky Morris of Cabot, and Lynn Morris (Terry) of El Paso; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 at Sullivan Funeral Care. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church where burial will follow in the church cemetery.
