When Bradford Morris was born on January 10, 1889, in Gurdon, Arkansas, his father, Bradford, was 27 and his mother, Lydia, was 18. He married Nelle E. Brewer (1892–1952) on October 22, 1911, in Pike, Arkansas. He then married Margaret Lecroy and they had one child together. He died in May 1965 in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 76, and was buried there.
