SPRINGDALE — George William Collins, 60, of Springdale died Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville. He was born March 31, 1961, in Springdale, the son of Minnie Wolf and George Collins.
He loved spending quality time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He was a cabinet builder for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include son Joshua Collins of Springdale; daughters Monica Henry of Southwest City, Mo., and Blair Gibson and husband Trevis of Huntington; stepdaughter Bambi Woods of Springdale; sisters Elizabeth Hill and husband Paul of Lowell, Lois Falkner and husband Larry of Springdale and Terri Ghomghani and husband Kam of Lowell; nine grandchildren; and many loving extended relatives and a hosts of friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at New Hope Assembly of God Church in Rogers.
A celebration of William's life will be Friday and begin at 1 p.m. at New Hope Assembly of God Church with Pastor Paul Hill and Pastor Kam Ghomghani officiating. Interment will follow at Elm Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Collins, Trevis Gibson, Russ Ward, Josh Weaver, Bryce Weaver and Ronnie Collins. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Falkner.
Memorials may be sent to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Ark., 72762. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home Bentonville.
