May 11, 1926 - July 3, 2013
Mitzi Jean Files Tucker 87, of Hot Springs, born May 11, 1926, went home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2013.
Mitzi and her husband Rev Robert (Bob) Tucker, who preceded her in death, owned and operated Files Resort in Hot Springs. Mitzi and Bob served in several churches in the Hot Springs Area.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Gene Files and Pauline Boyles Files VanPatter.
She is survived by her sister Helen Dwiggins of Little Rock, her son Robert Tucker and daughter-in-law Annette Tucker of Signal Mt, Tennessee and her daughter Paula Tucker Bruce and son-in-law Jerry Bruce of Hot Springs. Two nieces, one nephew, five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage of Hot Springs, and Arkansas Hospice for the loving care provided.
Funeral Services at 10am., Saturday, July 6th 2013, at Gross Funeral Home with Funeral.
Burial will be at Files Cemetery in Hot Springs.
