Ruth Henley Tucker, 87, of Malvern, Arkansas, went to be with Jesus April 16, 2013. She was born July 15, 1925 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late William Albert and Elva Irene (Bennett) Wilde. Ruth, affectionately known as Gigi; loved Jazzercise, all kinds of animals, and enjoyed spending time with the grandkids. She served in the Marine Corps and was employed with Arkansas Health Department. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Grady “Mac” Henley and James F. Tucker; sister Dolores Bishop and great-grandson Jacob Cook. She is survived by her son William Grady Henley of Hot Springs; daughter Linda Ruth Whisenhunt (Bill) of Malvern; grandchildren Carrie Cook (Tim), Holly Crain (Ken), Josh Whisenhunt (Melissa), James Whisenhunt, and Willie Whisenhunt; great-grandchildren Taylor, Cailyn and Emily Grace Cook and Emma and Matthew Austin. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Guests may register at www.caruth-hale.com.
