ANDERSON, Mo. — Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Palmer Warren, 94, of Anderson died July 28, 2002, at Beverly Health Care in Anderson. She was born Aug. 22, 1907, in Jacksonburg, W.Va., to Benjamin E and Harriet Hoover Palmer. She had been a member of the PEO Sisterhood for more than 50 years, belonging to Chapters DE in Tulsa, Okla., CN in San Francisco, Calif, and CX and DH in Bella Vista. She was an accomplished artist and was active in the Tulsa Gardeners Clubs, the Boy Scouts and was a fly-fisher and canoeist. She was a legal secretary for her husband in Tulsa for 30 years.

She moved to the area four years ago from San Francisco and Tulsa. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. Warren, and by one grandson, Gary D. Warren, both in 1983.

Survivors include one son, Skip O. Warren and wife Carol Ann of Bella Vista; three grandchildren, Skip R. Warren of Lewisville, Texas, Scott A. Warren of Lafayette, Calif., and Storme L. Warren of Nashville, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren, Rachel Warren of Lewisville, Nicolas Warren of Lafayette, Maia Warren of Lafayette and Jackson Warren of Nashville.

Private family services will be held.

Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.
