WARREN, George F. - R.C. Hobbs received a telegram Tuesday morning announcing the death of his brother-in-law, George Warren, in New York City. A message Sunday had brought word of his serious illness with pneumonia and Mrs. R.C. Hobbs, his twin-sister, left that night with her youngest daughter, Warrene, for his bedside but he died before her arrival. The body will arrive in Rogers Thursday or Friday for burial in the cemetery here by the side of his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Warren, and his oldest brother, Ernest Warren. He is survived by two brothers, A.L. Warren of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Hedrick Warren of New York City, with whom he was associated in business; and two sisters, Mrs. E.E. Pickens of Kansas City and Mrs. Hobbs. A niece, Miss Sarah Hobbs, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Hobbs, graduated Tuesday morning from the school at Ogontz, Pa. and will join her mother on the way home. George Warren was the younger of the four sons and was never married. He has visited in Rogers nearly every year since his boyhood days and was always much interested in local civic movements, frequently donating to the same. He was about 45 years of age and was born in Missouri, coming to Rogers with his parents in 1904 and several years lived on a farm just north of town. The Callison Undertaking Co. will have charge of the funeral. The services will be conducted by Rev. R.M. Thompson at the First Christian church.
