*When William Hardin Stracener was born on November 6, 1902, in White, Arkansas, his father, George, was 22 and his mother, Vandelia, was 18. He married Vergie D Barnett-Stracener on February 26, 1922, in his hometown. They had two children during their marriage. He died on October 6, 1971, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 68, and was buried there.
When Vergie D Barnett-Stracener was born on March 28, 1904, her father, Oscar, was 23, and her mother, Pairlee, was 18. She married William Hardin Stracener on February 26, 1922, in White, Arkansas. They had two children during their marriage. She died on April 20, 1992, in Cabot, Arkansas, at the age of 88, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
