Dennis H. Stracener Sr. 45, of Searcy died Thursday, March 31. He was born May 11, 1965 in Searcy to Eldon H. and Mary Wiggs Stracener.
Mr. Stracener was a member of the Bald Knob Church of Christ where he loved teaching Bible Class. Dennis loved and was loved by all children, and was a dedicated and loving father and husband. He enjoyed working in the yard, fixing old cars, and loved animals of all kinds.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Carla Reddick Stracener; two sons, D.J. Stracener and Shane Stracener; two daughters, Kelli Cole and husband Daniel and Carri Stracener; two brothers, Doug Stracener and wife Brenda, and Justin Stracener and wife Janice; and one sister, Paula Volpe and husband Joe.
Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3rd in funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
