Coffield. His mother, Celia (nee Hicklin) Nichols passed away about 1857 in (modern-day) Logan Co., AR.

On the 1850 Lower, Franklin Co., AR census, Celia's parents and younger sister, George Washington Hicklin, Sarah (nee McKever) Hicklin and Lucy Hicklin were listed immediately below Samuel and Celia.

William David "Dave" Nichols married 1st Josephine Sewell 12 Dec 1870 in Franklin Co., AR. I have her memorial linked to her husband W. D. (William David "Dave") Nichols.

William David "Dave" Nichols married 2nd Alice Rebecca (nee Frazier) Archer 22 Oct 1883 in Logan Co., AR. Alice was previously married to James Archer 2 Apr 1876 in Newton Co., MO.

Alice Rebecca Frazier was the daughter of Hannah (maiden name unknown) and William Frazier. Hannah was last recorded on the 1870 Mars Hill, Washington Co., AR census. The widower, William Frazier was enumerated on the 1880 War Eagle, Madison Co., AR census.

Alice Rebecca Frazier married 1st James Archer 2 Apr 1876 in Newton Co., MO, and their son, William "Willie" Archer was counted on the 1880 War Eagle, Madison Co., AR census in the household of his maternal grandfather, William Frazier.

Both were residents of Paris, Logan Co., AR when Alice Rebecca (nee Frazier) Archer married 2nd William David "Dave" Nichols 22 Oct 1883 in Logan Co., AR.
