Arlis Monroe Nichols, 88, of Barling, Arkansas died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 in Charleston, Arkansas. He was born may 12, 1919 in Paris, Arkansas, and was the owner of a Brake and Alignment company, a proud World War II Army Veteran, 90th Infantry Division, and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters O'Neal, Ola, Oleta, Clarence, Irene and Crina, and his parents, Jack and Mary. He is survived by his wife Lucille, Daughter Darlis Holloway of Lincoln, Arkansas, and five step-daughters, Son Tony Espihoza of Whittier, California and two step-sons, sisters Billie Rodford of Ohio and Ethel Richardson of California; brothers Rufus Nichols of Paris, Arkansas and Kenneth Nichols of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Five Grandchildren and Nine Great-Grandchildren.
