BELLA VISTA — Mary Ellen Gibson, 75, of Bella Vista died July 19, 2002, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Oct. 26, 1926, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Walter and Esther Hamms Barnes. She was a men's clothing consultant for two men's clothing stores in Omaha, Neb., for 30 years.
Survivors include her husband, Howard W. Gibson, to whom she was married 44 years; one son, Howard R. Burnette of Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Jenefer Lewis of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and Suzanne Conway of Omaha; one sister, Edna Gutowski of Hoisington, Kan.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista, 72714.
