BENTONVILLE — Skyler Sue Gibson, 3 months and 4 days old, passed away on May 13, 2012, in the loving arms of her family at St. Francis Children's Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.

A visitation will be held between the hours of noon and 2 p.m. on Friday, May 18, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville, Ark. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens in Rogers, Ark. Skyler's visitation and memorial service is a celebration of her life, so we request all visitors to wear warm, happy colors.

Skyler was born on Feb. 9, 2012, in Bentonville, Ark., to Brian Gibson and Elexas Valencia.

She is survived by her two canine sisters, Maya and Lily. Her grandparents are Sue Brown and James Brown of Rogers, Ark.; Joe Gibson and Teri Liston of Bloomington, Ill., and Yolanda Valencia of Manila, Philippines. Her great-grandparents are Emmett Boyer and Kathryn Boyer of Rogers, Ark.

Skyler enjoyed the company of her favorite stuffed animals, Eggbert and Patrick, and listening to classical music and assorted rock lullabies. Throughout her life, Skyler showed us her incredible perseverance, unbelievable strength and fighting spirit.

Skyler touched so many lives in her short time with us. She taught us the value of life, love, happiness and virtue.
