Dorothy Modene Williams, age 90, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away December 7, 2019. Born on September 4, 1929 in Little Red, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Macie Edith Combs Morris and James Russell Morris.

Dorothy was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Some of her favorite things were gardening, cooking, quilting and sewing. She was well known for making fudge and handing it out on Halloween.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Charles Ray Williams, her daughter Kay Duncan, 5 brothers and 1 sister.

She is survived by her children James Williams and his wife Kathy, Gerald Williams, and Glenda Schlabach and her husband Dave, her brothers Landon Morris and Willie Morris and her sister Hazel Zahl, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Ms. Williams is also survived by her other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with funeral services being held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00pm at Olmstead Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery. Pallbearers are Johnny Marsh, Konner Marsh, Eli Marsh, Robby Jones, Dan Eckenfels and Jud Warden.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. www.alz.org
