Gertrude Parker Owens, 98 of Camden, AR went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 14, 2019. She is born August 10, 1921 in Calhoun County to John Henry & Rosie Parker.

In her 98th season of life, Gertrude received her blessing of immortality on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at her home in Camden. Gertrude was welcomed home by her parents, John Henry & Rosie Parker; her loving husband of 70 years James Harvey; her sisters Minnie Parker & Estela Parker; her children James Edward Owens, Dorothy Owens Hawkins & Sarah Owens.

She is survived by her sister, Versie Parker; her daughter Billie Sumler; and sons Ed Owens and John Owens all of Camden AR. An adopted brother Donald Ray from Little Rock AR.

Visitation hours will be at 10am followed by funeral services at 11:30am at Proctor Funeral Home with Reverend Roy Owens officiating on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Burial will be at New St. Mary Cemetery Camden AR.
