Mary Louise Christopher Thrower was born July 25, 1949, to Willie Porchia Baxter and Lee Christopher. Mary Louise Christopher-Thrower, went home to be with the Lord after a hard fought battle with cancer on February 15, 2019. Mary united with New Haven Missionary Baptist church at an early age. She was married to David Lee Thrower on July 27, 1968, and to this union 5 children were born. After marriage she united with St. Mary Baptist. “Louise” as she was known to family and friends was actively involved with St. Mary working as Youth Director and Choir member.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was employed at WalMart for many years until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by four sister Hazel Baxter Jenkins Crawford, Dorthy Baxter Dixon Howard, Shirley Ann Christopher and Janie Virginia Christopher (Jenny Girl), two brother; John David Kennedy (Sambo) and Billy Ray Christopher.
She leaves to mourn her husband Pastor David Lee Thrower; children; Anthony (Felecia) Christopher, Jacqueline (Carl) Brown, Maurice Thrower, Sharon Thrower Pace and Lynettra Thrower, two brother; Robert Lee Christopher and Charles Edward Christopher.
