WINSLOW — Miron C. "Toots" Parrish, 80, of Winslow died Nov. 10, 2004, at his home. He was born Oct. 20, 1924, in the Black Oak community to Isaac Norman and Sevilla Jane DeVore Parrish. He was an automobile mechanic and a minister. He was pastor of Locke Free Will Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Bishop Parrish; three sons, Robert and wife Judy, Randy and wife Raye and Norman and wife Amy, all of Winslow; one daughter, Patti Provence and husband Gary of Mountainburg; one brother, Omer D. Parrish of Greenland; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pigeon Creek Free Will Baptist Church in Mountainburg with Gary Provence, Justin Allen and Jerry Bromley officiating.

Burial will be in Brentwood Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.

Memorials may be made to Washington Regional Medical Center Hospice, 34 W. Colt Square, Suite 1, Fayetteville, 72703.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Moore's.

MOUNTAINBURG — Wanda Yvonne Parrish, age 86, passed away Sept. 30, 2015, at her home in Mountainburg. She was born Oct. 30, 1928, the daughter of Alvin Wesley and Vernie Hazel Hawes Bishop.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband M.C. Parrish, a brother Terry Bishop and a sister Polly Martin. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was a pastor's wife for 40 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Patti Provence and her husband Gary of Mountainburg; two sons, Robert Parrish and his wife Judy and Randy Parrish and his wife Raye both of Winslow; one sister, Jackie Chandler of Farmington; five grandchildren Robyn DeVore, Chris Parrish, Mira Cowett, Candice Luper, and Chris Provence; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 10 a.m. Saturday Oct. 3, 2015, at First Assembly of God Church in Winslow, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Brentwood Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Peachtree hospice home in Fort Smith, 2910 Jenny Lind Road, Building No. 4, Fort Smith, Ark., 72901.
