When Mona Faye Turner Kirk was born on December 8, 1892, in Illinois, her father, James, was 10, and her mother, Ada, was 27. She married Earl Clifford Kirk on March 3, 1912, in Prairie, Arkansas. They had ten children in 19 years. She died on March 28, 1976, at the age of 83, and was buried in Beebe, Arkansas.
