Idabelle "Belle" M. Puryear, 93, of Wichita, Kan., and a former Gravette resident, died May 28, 2011.
She was born Nov 5, 1917, in Wichita to Charles M. Maddox and Rose Marie (Mathers) Maddox. She was a homemaker who loved quilting and sewing and was a longtime member of the West Douglas Church of Christ in Wichita.
She was preceded in death by husband Robert N. Puryear and three brothers and three sisters.
She was survived by sons, Donald "Jerry" and wife Linda Puryear and Richard and wife Cindy both of Cassville, Mo.; daughter, Iris "Sue" and husband Elmer Rotramel of Wichita; sister, Jane Rodgers of Buffalo, Okla., and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m., June 2, at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita, and a graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., June 3, at Daniel Cemetery, N. Mt. Pleasant Rd. in Gravette. Arrangements are by Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita, Kan.
