Zelma K. Hodges, age 82 of Camden, AR passed away Tuesday, March 08, 2011 at the Ouachita County Medical Center. She was born in Waldo, AR to Archie and Alta Lindsey Kelly on June 25, 1928.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Leonard E. Hodges. She is survived by her son, Dr. Gene Hodges and wife, Sherrell of Jefferson City, MO; daughters, Myrtle Shewmaker and husband, Richard A. of Camden, AR and Betty King and husband, Leon of Fayetteville, AR; grandsons, Mike Purifoy and wife, Angela of Monticello, AR, James Purifoy of Camden, AR, Richard Shewmaker, Jr. of Waldo, AR, Gene Hodges, Jr. of Conway, AR, Timothy Jones and wife, Lisa of Camden, AR, Trinity Jones of Emerson, AR, Teddy Jones and wife, Randie of Mt. View, AR and Jessie Wise of Fayetteville, AR; granddaughters, Cindy Jeffers and husband, Mike of Camden, AR, Brandie Relaford of Camden, AR, Kimberly Logue and husband, Rick of Fayetteville, AR, Ashley Hanks and husband, James of Eldon, MO, Teresa Steed and husband, Mike of Batesville, AR and Courtney Troost of Jonesboro, AR; thirty seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; twin sister, Velma Madison of Camden, AR; and three brothers, Jerry Kelly of Ashdown, AR, Travis Kelly of Waldo, AR and Charles Kelly of Camden, AR.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p. m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Brian Dixon will officiate the services. Visitaion will be from 6-8 p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
