Obituary for Tom Watson Pennington
Tom Watson Pennington, 97, of Holly Springs died Friday, September 30, 2011 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. He was born September 2, 1914 in Calhoun County Arkansas. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and a retired sawyer. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Pennington and Annie Mae Cathey Pennington; his wife, Gladys Elva Roberts Pennington; son, James Royce Pennington; brothers, Herbert, Clyde and John Pennington; sister, Mary Ellen McAlister. He is survived by four sons, George David Pennington of Holly Springs, Thomas Wayne Pennington of Camden, Bobby Dale Pennington and Benny Lamar Pennington both of Holly Springs; four daughters, Martha Dianne Jackson of Pine Bluff, Patricia Ione Burke of Little Rock, Peggy Joyce Davis of Bearden, Mary Ruth Hogg of Holly Springs; one sister, Georgia Mae Ray of Bearden; twenty two grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Roberts and Rev.
