Ruth Rhew (Granny Ruth), 89, of Bradford, went to be with her Savior, Wednesday, February 26, 2020. She was born August 1, 1930 and was the daughter of the late ArretisVanwinkle Hickmon and Hinkle Hickmon.Ruth was a lifetime member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. She was an excellent seamstress and quilter winning many awards for her quilts. Ruth is survived by her son, Johnny Rhew (Keta), great-granddaughter, Mekayla Sexton, brother, Andy Hickmon of Mount Vernon, AR, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Rhew daughter, Katherine Rhew Turner, and 9 siblings. Visitation will be Sunday, March 1st from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Funeral services will be Monday, March 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Brian Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in Smith (Crossroads).
