Bobby Lee Rhew of Pleasant Plains went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 28, 2017. He was born August 14, 1942 to John D. and Julia Lurece (Cross) Rhew. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and spent most of his life as a carpenter. He was an active member of Independence Missionary Baptist Church at Pleasant Plains.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Pamela Kay Rhew.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Rhew and Karee of Heber Springs, Joey Rhew and Mendy of Pleasant Plains;one daughter, Tamara Bell and Tim of Pleasant Plains; 14 Grandchildren, Landon and Brooke Cornett, Kelsey Cornett, Kaleb Luttrell, Olivia Luttrell, Measha Rhew, Missy Jo Rhew, Joshua Lancaster, Lauren Candler, Caleb and Kendall Horsley, Kimberly and Shelby Sample, and Lexie Bell; two great granddaughters Ella Horsley and Harper Brock and one on the way Fallon Sample; one brother, Paul Rhew of Dixon, Missouri; many nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Independence Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains with Bro. Wesley Roberts and Bro. Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cross Cemetery in Denmark with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.

Pallbearers will be James Coan, Glen Gordon, Brandon Langle, Sherwin Meharg, Jerry Rutledge and Rick Siler.
