Katherine Eileen Quattlebaum was born to Edward A. and Helen McKillop Owen on November 21, 1932 in Lethbridge Alberta Canada and passed away on May 5, 2013 in Searcy, Arkansas. Mrs. Quattlebaum was a retired Med-Tech and a member of the Valley Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at White County Medical Center for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sidney G. Quattlebaum of 54 years.
She is survived by two sons, Alan L. Quattlebaum (Luanne) of Jusdsonia, Owen L, Quattlebaum of Searcy, four granddaughters, Krystal Quattlebaum, of Judsonia, Jennifer Smith (Shelby) of Jonesboro, Jessica Dixon of Searcy, Taylor Quattlebaum of Searcy, a step-granddaughter Brittany Thorton of Fayetteville, four great-grandchildren, Deslyn and Zarenonna Dixon, Ashton Greer, Kamilla Quattlebaum, a brother Eddie Owen, Jr., of Coaldale Alberta Canada, numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 2013, 6-8 p.m. at the Valley Baptist Church in Searcy. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Church with Bro. James Hays and Bro. David Crouch officiating.
