When Reva Burkett was born on September 8, 1916, in Arkansas, her father, John, was 43, and her mother, Mattie, was 40. She married Connie James Quattlebaum on January 9, 1937. They had four children during their marriage. She died on November 24, 2001, at the age of 85, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
