September 28, 1932 - March 22, 2017
Carolyn Walker 84 of Camden, AR passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017. She was born September 28, 1932. She worked at OCMC as an LPN for several years and was state President for the LPN Association. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and going to the beach every summer with her husband and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Carrie Williams and Ora Crowder; sister, Norma McClellan; brother-in-law, Nolan McClellan; brother, Billy Williams; and sister-in-law, Maude Williams.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert T. Walker; sons, Terry Walker and wife, Anita and Gary Walker and wife, Marilyn; and daughter, Sherrie Simpson and husband, Paul all of Camden, AR; grandchildren, Jonathan Simpson and wife, Amy of Arkadelphia, AR, Andy Simpson and wife, Mylinda of Camden, AR and Keri Simpson of Camden, AR; three great grandchildren, Gracie and Jon Ross Simpson both of Arkadelphia and Michael Simpson of Camden, AR.
Funeral services will be 10:00AM Friday, March 24, 2017 at Proctor Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Ratliff officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
