Bessie F. "Fritts" Stamps, 84, of Springdale died Monday, Sept. 26, 1994, at Fayetteville.
Born Oct. 3, 1909, at Hindsville, the daughter of Elijah Boone and Laura McDonald Fritts, she was a homemaker and was a lifetime resident of the area. She was married to Earnest Eugene Stamps, who died in 1990.
Survivors are seven sons, Luther W. Stamps, Elton E. Stamps, John L. Stamps, Liga S. Stamps, James H. Stamps, Alfred T. Stamps and Jerry D. Stamps, all of Springdale; three daughters, Artie Earnestine Gipson, Anna Hallene Hoffarth and Sue Doshier, all of Springdale; 24 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Nelson's Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Day officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
