Fred Allen Stamps, 49, of Lowell, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 1995, at the Northwest Medical Center.
Born Sept. 18, 1946, in Kingston, the son of Freeman and Estelle Thompson Stamps, he worked for Tyson Foods for 28 years, retiring recently as a truck dispatcher at the Springdale Feed Mill. He was a cattle farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife, Carole Powell Stamps; four sons, Danny Stamps of Fayetteville, David Stamps of Hiwasse, Joshua Stamps and Jeremy Stamps, both of the family home; a daughter, Tricia Leach of Springdale; his mother of Lowell; three brothers, Jerrel Stamps of Springdale, Clyde Stamps, Hindsville and Bobby Cook of Lowell; two sisters, Maxine Murphy and Thelma Underdown, both of Lowell; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral is at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sisco Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Garrison officiating. Burial is in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.
