Frances Ella Caldwell was born on May 11, 1854, in Arkansas. She married Phillip Bible Cunningham on March 28, 1872, in Big Bottom, Arkansas. They had four children during their marriage. She died on August 31, 1931, in his hometown at the age of 77, and was buried in Clay, Arkansas.
