Delmas Dee Stidham, 74 of Hiwasse, died Saturday, March 3, 1984 at the Gravette Medical Center. He was born Jan. 5, 1910 in Blair, Ok., and lived most of his life in Oklahoma and New Mexico. He moved to Hiwasse in 1956. He was a farmer and a retired Farmer's Electric Company employee.
Survivors include his wife; seven sons; seven daughters; four brothers; two sisters; 43 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant under the direction of Callison-McKinney. Dee has 2 grandchildren buried here. They are Dana and Danny. And another Granddaughter buried at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA, Carylon and a granddaughter buried in New Mexico, Ora Faye Stidham.

Edith Elsie Stidham, 77, of Hiwasse, died Thursday, Feb. 7, at St. Mary-Rogers Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 2, 1913 at Yancy, Mo. to Charles Mosie Brown and Susie J. Buffer Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Deimas Dee Stidham in 1984 and a brother, David Brown.
Survivors include seven sons, Carl Stidham of Brawley, Calif., Earlon Stidham, Harlon Stidham, Lawrence Stidham and Billy Joe Stidham, all of Hiwasse, David Stidham of Gravette and Raymond Stidham of Bentonville; seven daughters, Mona Fern Brinkley, lslamae Arnold and Kay Russow, all of Gravette, Doris McDougal of Fremont, Neb., Sue Boling of Hiwasse, and Betty Hendricks and Edith Phillips, both of Gentry; two brothers, Arthur Brown of Cyril, Okla., and Henry Brown of Tecumseh, Okla.; five sisters, Opal McKnight of Phoenix, Ariz., Ellen Scott and Lottie Smith, both of Cyril, Okla., Marjorie Miller of Anadarko, Okla., and Geneva Harris of Cement, Okla.; 43 grandchildren; and 49 great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Monday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Hiwasse with the Rev. Tommy Haley officiating. Visitation is to be 6-8 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Burial is to be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
