Earlon "Lid" Troy Stidham, 74, of Hiwasse, Arkansas died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born on April 11, 1939 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Delmos Luther "Dee" Stidham and Edith Elsie Brown Stidham.
He married Betty Lee Marvin on April 19, 1957. He attended Shepherd's Chapel in Gravette. He enjoyed his guitar, fishing, gardening and working on old cars. He also loved playing dominoes, cards and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother Harlon "Big" Roy Stidham and brother, Lawrence Stidham.
He is survived by his wife, Betty of Hiwasse, Arkansas; three sons, Troy and (Beverly) of Southwest City, Arkansas, Earlon "Dean" (Marla) of Grove, Oklahoma, Dwight Stidham of Hiwasse, Arkansas; one daughter, Betty Lou Stidham – Renner of Rogers, Arkansas; four brothers, Carl Stidham (Ann) of Brawley, California, David Stidman (Diana) of Gravette, Arkansas, Billy Joe Stidham (Karen) of Decatur, Arkansas; Raymond Stidham of Bentonville, Arkansas; seven sisters, Fern Brinkley of Gravette, Arkansas, Islamae Arnold (Royce) of Gravette, Arkansas, Doris McDougal (John) of Gravette, Arkansas, Mary Sue Boling (Darrell) of Hiwasse, Arkansas, Linda Kay Russow (Frank) of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, Betty Jean Hendricks (Gene) of Gravette, Arkansas Edith Faye Hudson (Ralph) of Gentry, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas.
