Emma Bell Rowe, age 88, of Chidester died in a local hospital at 4:50 a.m. Thursday. She was the widow of G. W. Rowe and a member of the Chidester Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Ellis and Doyle of Chidester, Clyde of Camden and Sherrill of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Mrs. W. D. Ledbetter of Houston, Texas; one brother, Henry Barrett of Little Rock; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services to be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Chidester Baptist Church with burial in the Chidester Cemetery by Proctor's Funeral Home. (Camden News - January 15, 1970)
