When HATTIE GLOVER DURHAM was born on June 9, 1868, in Panola, Mississippi, her father, DANIEL, was 25, and her mother, ELIZABETH, was 25. She married JAMES CORNELIUS DUKE on March 16, 1887, in Mayflower, Arkansas. They had 11 children in 23 years. She died on January 8, 1945, in Mayflower, Arkansas, at the age of 76, and was buried there.
