Woodmen of the World Memorial
When JAMES CORNELIUS DUKE was born on December 28, 1862, in Georgia, his father, James, was 29 and his mother, Nancy, was 25. He married HATTIE GLOVER DURHAM on March 16, 1887, in Mayflower, Arkansas. They had 11 children in 23 years. He died on July 18, 1917, in Mayflower, Arkansas, at the age of 54, and was buried there.
