Dolores Lavon Steward, 88, of Alma, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Van Buren. She was born January 1, 1928 in San Antonio to the late Audrea and Arvil E. Budd, Jr. She retired from A to Z Grocery in January 2016 at the age of 88. She was a member of Cedarville Baptist Church, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her life and nothing made her happier than spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Steward, mother and stepfather, Audrea and Jesse N. Robinson, and a brother, Richard Robinson.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Abbott and husband Carroll, and Marolyn Hundley and husband Rick all of Fort Smith; a son, Tom Steward and wife Karen of Alma; two sisters, Matilda Mills of Farmington, and Norma Jean Blackman of Fort Worth; two brothers, Arvil Budd and wife Dot of Jacksonville, FL, and Danny Robinson and wife Rita of West Fork; five grandchildren, Shilo Blackwell, Betsy McCurdy, Chris Abbott, Justin Hundley, and Scott Hundley; and three great-grandchildren, Sydney Blackwell, Jade McCurdy, and London Blackwell.

Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Alma Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
