(The gravestone gives a birth year as 1897, but other information indicates that she was born in March 1893. A newspaper article about her death gave her age as 46.)

JONESBORO, NOV. 7TH -- Mrs. R.R. Hudson, 46, of Ruch, near Yellville, died in a hospital here today as the result of injuries suffered whn struck by an automobile near Leachville, last night.
The hudsons were returning to Leachville, after attending a carnival. They had lived in Leachville only a few weeks, being employed ad cotton pickers.
According to reports, Mrs. Hudson darted across the highway into the path of an automobile driven by Sam Key of Michigan, formerly of Manila.
Witnesses told officers the accident was unavoidable. Mr. Hudson suffered a fractured knee, being struck after the automobile had knocked his wife's body to the pavement. Their three children were not hit.

Mrs. Ran Hudson, who was killed on the highway near Blythville was buried in the Heiskill Cemetery last Monday. Why don't our lawmakers do something to slow up our speed demons.
