Caude Hudson's remains were shipped to this place, hence to Lone Rock. A number of people from Cotter and other places in the community were here and met the train. Owing to the misconnection on the other line the funeral did not take place until Thursday, February 1.

Claude Hudson, who was taken to the western part of Texas last May for his health, died at that place January 28. His father went after him and brought him to the Burnt School House Cemetery for burial. Calude was raised here and he leaves a host of friends and relatives ot mourn his loss. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood.
