March 29, 1889 - January 23, 1970
Thad U. Goodwin, 80, of 615 N. Bradley St., died Friday morning in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a retired employe of the Lion Refinery and had resided in EL Dorado for the past 35 years where he was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow of El Dorado; two daughters, Mrs. Harold E. Warren, Baldwin, Mo., and Mrs. Paul Echolls, El Dorado; a sister, Mrs. Jesse Brown, Little Rock and a half-sister, Mrs. Effie Mohandle, Prescott. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young's. (El Dorado Times - January 24, 1970)
